Sue & I are proud to welcome Mr. Jack Poitras, Master Woodcarver, to our store here in historic Kimmswick. Jack has the uncanny ability to 'carve' things out of wood with amazing realism. Jack is the proud owner of Poitras Custom Woodcrafts. Jack learned at an early age how to creat these beautiful items from wood, having been taught by his father. Jack has done nothing else but refine this God-talent since that time. Make it a point to stop by and watch Jack in action right outside our store. Jack loves to talk to people as he works, and they like to talk to him, so be sure to stop and say, "Howdy!" If you think Jack looks familiar, you are probably right! You have seen Jack, and his lovely wife, Mary, all over Kimmswick, especially when the Rendevous is held here along with the Apple Butter Festival. As you look in amazement at the truly great carvings, If you see something you like, Jack will be more than happy to take your order.
